- Instructions:

  •   1. In each quart jar, layer the ingredients in the following order: beef stew meat,                diced tomatoes, onions, bell peppers, carrots, garlic, paprika, oregano, salt, and            black pepper.
  •   2. Seal the jars tightly and label them with the date and contents.
  •   3. Store the jars in a cool, dry place until ready to use.
  •   4. To prepare the goulash, simply empty the contents into a pot, add water or broth            as desired, and simmer until the meat and vegetables are tender.

2. Potato Soup (6 Quart Jars):

- Ingredients:

  •   - 6 cups diced potatoes
  •   - 2 cups chopped onions
  •   - 2 cups diced celery
  •   - 2 cups sliced carrots
  •   - 4 cloves garlic, minced
  •   - 8 cups vegetable or chicken broth
  •   - 2 cups milk (add before serving)
  •   - Salt and pepper to taste

- Instructions:

  •   1. In each quart jar, layer the ingredients in the following order: diced potatoes,                onions, celery, carrots, and minced garlic.
  •   2. Seal the jars tightly and label them with the date and contents.
  •   3. Store the jars in a cool, dry place until ready to use.
  •   4. To prepare the potato soup, empty the contents into a pot, add the vegetable or              chicken broth, and simmer until the vegetables are tender.
  •   5. Just before serving, stir in the milk and season with salt and pepper to taste.

Note:

  •   4. To prepare the cookies, empty the contents into a mixing bowl and add 1 cup (2            sticks) of softened butter and 2 large eggs. Mix until well combined.
  •   5. Drop spoonfuls of dough onto a baking sheet and bake at 350°F (175°C) for 10-12        minutes, or until lightly golden brown.

4. Chicken Rice (4 Pint Jars):

- Ingredients:

  •   - 2 cups uncooked long-grain rice
  •   - 1 cup dried chicken pieces or shredded chicken
  •   - 1/2 cup dried vegetables (such as carrots, peas, or corn)
  •   - 2 teaspoons chicken bouillon powder
  •   - 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
  •   - 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

- Instructions:

  •   1. In each pint jar, layer the ingredients in the following order: uncooked rice, dried          chicken pieces or shredded chicken, dried vegetables, chicken bouillon powder,            dried thyme, and garlic powder.
  •   2. Seal the jars tightly and label them with the date and contents.
  •   3. Store the jars in a cool, dry place until ready to use.
  •   4. To prepare the chicken rice, empty the contents into apot and add 4 cups of water          or chicken broth. Bring to a boil, then reduce the heat, cover, and simmer for 15-          20minutes, or until the rice is cooked and the chicken is tender. Fluff with a fork          before serving.
